I'm 29. I've competed at every Fechtschule America, last year's Longpoint, and every DixieKrieg.

65 I Was very involved in epee fencing 20 to 30 years ago. Typical life chaos intervened and I stopped doing it. After a recent bout with cancer (chemo plus major surgery left me in very poor shape) I decided to get into hema type stuff, mostly longsword, last fall. A friend of mine has been doing it for a decade or so and it looks to be a great way to get back in shape. Perhaps I will compete some next year.

47. Been doing martial arts of some variety or another off and on for 32 years, so I think I've got you beat Sean. ;) Got involved in HEMA about 13 years ago. Did the Open Karate Tournament thing way back when. Competed at FA 2012 and plan to compete at Longpoint.
