While my injury has provided me with nothing but free time for the moment, as I progress through the centuries in the Wiktenauer, I find myself more and more out of my depth. Case in point, I just created a page for Antonio Manciolino, and the only thing I knew about the guy going in is that he has a section on fighting with two swords (which makes him awesome). Putting together even the stub pages that I've been creating requires more and more time spent in research the further ahead I go.
So, the Wiktenauer is complete, at least in skeletal form, up through about 1530 at this moment. I'm done building for the moment and will be going back and fleshing out the Fifteenth Century stuff, which is what I know. If you like Bolognese fencing or anything else from the Sixteenth and Seventeenth centuries, I recommend you start putting in work as well to advance the timeline further. It will probable be at least a few months before I make another comprehensive attempt to push the year higher. I know there are a lot of Meyer guys on this board, and at least a few Bolgnese guys, so I hope you'll carry the torch.
Me, I'm going to build a complete Wilhalm composite, and then probably take a long hard look at Talhoffer.
