During a large library used book sale I found this diamond in the rough of Twilight novels and Kenny G cassette tapes. It's an extensive textbook, in full color, documenting medieval art, it's origins, history, and meanings. Unfortunately it's like a caveman finding fire. I know it's important but I'm too dumb to really understand it. I'm wondering if anyone else has read this book or knows of the author. There are no real citations to speak of (except for the art) so I really don't know what's fact and what's opinion. One thing I can say is there is quite a bit of medieval art depicting medieval weapons/clothing/warriors and a lot of art depicting Jesus. Who could have guessed? Anyway, I'm really looking forward to feedback and (if possible) other resources to help the layman. Thanks.
