To be fair Joey you hang out on a very North American centric forum (here, it is still even quite a new forum), even then this forum is frequented by a specific part of the HEMA community. This far from covers even all of North America.

Well, it SHOULD cover all of North America, because everyone should be wanting to be part of the HEMAA! ;) Sword Forums International is much more "international" than we are, but they get about 1/3 of the traffic that we get here. I guess we're a talkative bunch!

These videos are a bit long, 10 minutes each, but they give you an idea of what we do during a practice session. On our first day at the Irish Cultural Center we engaged in sparring with Polish Saber, Single-Stick, and Hutton Saber.

Hey Richard!

Good stuff! Looks like you got the saber guard for your singlesticks rather than the typical baskethilt? How do you like the guards?

The guards are ok. They have a tendency to end up off center after a little fighting. Adding another washer and some tape helped.

John and I at Longpoint with dussack. Flashy match.

I didn't know hand hits weren't taken, hence some confusion on our part.

For the glory of 3rd place, (and a ride to the airport, if I didn't win I had to walk).
Myself and Steflik at Longpoint in Dussack.

Of the one match I lost, it was against Johnathan Gordon, a lefty whom plied my own tricks upon me from the 'funny' side. Film is somewhere.
