The thing that concerns me about training with a blunt is that you will pull your blows (if you ever want that partner again). What you train, you do. Of course none of us are going to get in a real sword fight anyway so it doesn't really matter. On the other hand, wasters and feders aren't like real swords. it all ends up being a compromise anyway.
