We broke a Purple Heart III

I am hoping that Richard shall bend one of them there nylon wasters over the top of his skull, maybe even break it that way, much like the late-great Mr. Hank Reinhardt used to do with steel swords.
I would do that myself, but for fear that I may damage my delicate Cro-Magnon cranium.

Purple Heart says they'll replace the blade for sure. I'll keep everyone posted.

This means I have a spare broken blade. I will bend it over my head if I sell enough books.

Here at Schwert am Schwert we recently broke one of the prototypes they gave us. It was the last 6 inches of the tip that snapped off when a head shot was given. So that one lasted a good long time.

Nylon swords tend to get more flexible with time. Christian was saying that is the nature of nylon to absorb moisture, I think.

It was the single hander prototypes that broke at FA 2012. Our club has not been able to test those yet.
