There are two dates for the event on the page. The top says the 16-17th and at the bottom says the 25-26th of October.

Man I want to go to this. Everyone wish me luck, tonight I try to convince my wife that we need to take a vacation to beautiful Florida.

I just got all the details ironed out with work and I will be making the trip out east to the Dixie Kreig

Hey Guys!

Bad news from my end. Looks like I won't be able to make it to Dixie Krieg. I just got short notice last week that I will be replacing another Doc for deployment to Iraq. I will be going to NTC in California at the end of October. I will be leaving for Basra Iraq with the 1st CAV out of Ft Hood at the beginning of February. However, I have applied for a second residency training in Dermatology. I interview for this position on Wed (22nd) in San Antonio. Keep your fingers crossed for me! If I get the residency, then they will have to bring me back early from Iraq, so I would only be there for about 3 months. If I don't get the residency, then I will be there for a year. I had even bought a new fencing mask and the coaches jacket that Jake recommended in preparation for the Longsword prize playing bouts at Dixie Krieg! I'll certainly miss getting to see you guys!

I will be at the Army's National Training Center out in the desert of southern California. I haven't been there before, so I'm not sure what town it is close to, and I don't have my TDY orders yet to know where I am flying in to.
